How to freeze peaches

First, the peaches need to be peeled. So start by putting a large pot of water on to boil. Wash the peaches and score the bottom using a paring knife in an “X” shape. Add the whole peaches a few at a time to the boiling water. Boil for a few minutes, to check if the peaches have boiled long enough test a corner of the peach where you made the “X”, if it peels back easily it’s ready. Then transfer the boiled peach to an ice bath to cool. Peel off the skin and slice the peaches. Add the peeled slices to a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Once filled, put the sheet in the freezer to flash freeze. Then add to an airtight bag or container and keep in the freezer.
