Greek Style Guacamole topped with feta cheese in a bowl with chips

There’s no better time for snacking than during your favorite sporting event. Perhaps you’re a nervous snacker when your team is down, or a celebratory snacker when they have it in the bag. Either way you snack, this Greek-Style Guacamole is sure to hit the spot!

While we prefer to make our own pita chips when we have the time (easy to do and helps you control what you’re eating!), we really enjoyed these Aldi garlic hummus chips, which paired nicely with our dip. The bonus? These Aldi chips have ZERO cholesterol!

We like to dig into this dish while watching our OSU Buckeyes play, and plan on enjoying it during our Superbowl party as well! Happy snacking!

Ingredients

  • 3 avocados pitted and mashed
  • ½ cup red onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese
  • ½ cup Kalamata olives diced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp dill

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl mash avocados.
  • Mix in onion, feta cheese and olives.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and dill.
  • Top with a sprinkle of feta cheese and dill and serve.

Notes

  • If your avocados are on the hard side blend in a food processor before adding in the rest of the ingredients to ensure a smooth and creamy texture.
  • If serving later you can keep the avocado pits on top of the guacamole, this will help the guac from turning brown!
